Wake Forest Home & Garden Show Aug. 11-12

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St., will host the third annual Wake Forest Home & Garden Show on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 12, from noon-4 p.m.

Presented by Mitchell Heating & Cooling, the Home & Garden Show will feature over 50 local experts showcasing the latest in home improvement products, services and features.

As an added bonus, this year’s event will again include a Shopping Marketplace with local art, handmade decor and various home products available for purchase.  

“For anyone planning a home improvement or yard enhancement project, our home and garden show will offer a convenient look at what’s available in our area,” said Renaissance Centre Manager Cathy Gouge.

In addition to visiting with local home and garden experts, attendees will have the opportunity to attend free seminars throughout the two-day event and enter a number of prize drawings. This year’s grand prize is a Traeger Pro 22 Series Grill and accessories package valued at over $1,000, courtesy of B&W Hardware.

Admission to the Home & Garden Show is free, but attendees are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry. A collection box will be located in the Renaissance Centre lobby. Tri-Area Ministry will distribute the donated food items to people in need in our community.

Free parking is available in the Renaissance Centre and Town Hall parking lots and along several streets in the downtown area.
