December Art Exhibit and Reception: Chasing the Light

The Wake Forest Guild of Artists is highlighting the artist's quest to find the light in every artwork and bring light to the viewer with a new exhibit in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex in December entitled “Chasing the Light.”

You do not have light unless you have darkness. As artists, the quest is always to ensure that light highlights the artwork. That light might be the sun or moon or an artificial light. It might be light reflecting off an object or a tiny flower petal. Featured artists include Adria Baker, Lisa Bernhard, Alison Charchar, Erin Day, Todd Kreisman, Olga Lobastova, Jennifer McPhatter, Delphine Peller, Clina Polloni, Tracy Pratt, Robin Sheehy, Margaret Roth, Karen Ruffner, and Kathy Weber.

Mark your calendars for our artist reception on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex, 407 S. Brooks St. Works are for sale through the artists.
