October Art Exhibit + Reception
A Celebration of the Arts
We're "Celebrating the Arts" in a big way in October as we feature artists on our virtual public art tour and reveal our 75th piece of public art this month. Participating artists include our very first public artist, Robert Tully, as well as our new mural artist and creator of our 75th touch of public art, Junior Gomez. Also featured are Charles Cameron, Linda Hauser, Jordan Parah, Delphine Peller, Maureen Seltzer, Ian Slade, Dr. Jane Steelman, Gary Taber, and Rose Welty.
Save the date for a special reception honoring our artists on Friday, Oct. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre Arts Annex, 407 S. Brooks St. Experience the art, meet the artists, and learn more about the Public Art Commission and their work in our community. The reception is free and open to everyone.
